HUVr Tech Real or Fake?
Recently, a group, a website, and a video came out proposing the Hoverboards were real but are they really?
The answer is sadly no, after doing so much advertising and creating a video demonstrating the board in action with popular stars like Tony Hawk and Terrell Owens it turns out to be a hoax.
It all started with the want for reality from the famous movie “ Back to the Future II” where supposedly they had hoverboards. Even “Doc” Christopher Lloyd said they were real and was the supposed “Spokesman”. Unfortunately this hoax went farther than they thought it would.
People started believing them and going crazy because they wanted one so finally they had to put an end to this elaborate ruse so Tony Hawk and Christopher Lloyd made separate videos explaining the hoax and apologizing for it. Their reasoning for all this was they were “Too immersed into it” and “Wanted it to be real” to the point where they even started believing their own lies.
So bottom line is there are no hoverboards and may not be for a while, but with how fast technology is advancing you never know we could have one by this time next year.
